Trying to poison the right wing against someone who stood up for them and for all of us. And the sick thing is that it will work.

I went to r/conservative on Reddit just for fun and some of them are already flip flopping. Most are getting down voted to hell, but it was noticeable. But at the same time I wouldn’t be surprised if it was bots trying to turn everyone against each other, as is tradition.

The elderly at my job all are rallied against the guy. Been trying to explain to them regardless of how they feel it’s a lens into the public opinion.

Watching the media machines gears turn with this one are especially transparent.

If it is him, getting caught threw a wrench in the meaning of his actions. Before he got caught, the only news was about how evil the execs are. Now it’s all about him.

Of course it will work. They are objectively terrible people that will openly celebrate any pain done to anyone, including themselves, if they just get to add one more ounce of hate to the world.

After the headline-grabbing execution, questionable portions of the internet immediately began thirsting over images of the alleged killer while denouncing the corporate greed showcased by UnitedHealthcare and its peers.

Lol questionable.

Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly similarly slammed Mangione’s declaration on X writing, “His ‘lived experience’ is about to be punctuated by 3 squares a day and a fear of showering.”

Fuck you.

…with far-right political activist and former political correspondent for One America News Network Jack Posobiec writing on X: “There’s a reason the left supports murderers who shoot businessmen in the street.

“It’s a feature not a bug.”

You make it a feature.

After news on Mangione’s arrest came to light on Monday, Fox host Jesse Watters weighed in on the 26-year-old’s potential future in prison, claiming that he’s “not ready” and that he’s “gonna get annihilated.”

“I don’t think anyone’s ready [to go to prison],” Watters said on The Five. “This guy’s not ready. He’s way too soft. He’s gonna get annihilated on the inside, and good.”

“If he’s not gonna get the death penalty, maybe someone will do him justice behind bars,” he added. “That’s all I have to say about that.”

You get a fuck you too.

Murdering miscarrying women by refusing them medical treatment is definitely a-okay. Supply-side Jesus loves that kind of murder.

Well yes imprisoned people lose their rights (to live, most of all!) and humanity, and don’t count!

That’s why we forgive people like Republican leaders and campaign leaders for their crimes because they’re MORE human than us!

If the public reaction to his gets one potential school shooter to rethink their plans and instead shoot a single CEO, that’s a net gain. Bonus points if they start talking about gun control and Democrats reply with “it’s too soon to talk about that, thoughts and prayers. Maybe install litter boxes in board rooms?”

It’s interesting how many still casually “joke” about prison rape in this country. At least when it comes to male rape.

If he’s not gonna get the death penalty, maybe someone will do him justice behind bars

This kind of pairs with the rape stuff. There are an awful lot of very gross people that wish for rape AND murder to happen in prison. The idea of our system supposedly being about corrections is a complete farce as long as so many people like that are among us…

I tend to forget the impact of 7 decades of rabid anti-socialism propaganda Americans have been bombarded with. They are not going to think “Sweden” but “Stalinist USSR instead”.

It doesn’t matters who it benefits, it’s the naughty word so it’s bad. Keep voting for the leopards.

Watter’s assertion that:

"He’s gonna get annihilated on the inside, and good.”

Is probably bullshit. To have the balls to walk up and ice the 21st century version of a vampire will be huge in prison. They hate corporate America just as much as we do.

Exactly, his actions are being received positively among the people who have been burned by society, which would have more representation in prison.

They frown upon murdering children and shit like that, he is probably gonna get lots of high fives.

I don’t think it is outside the realm of possibility that corporate interests would find a way to get another prisoner/guard to kill him. I doubt it would even be that difficult for them. They have so much to offer to a group of people who have been deprived of most things. solidarity to a cause only goes so far when your life is just suffering.

They absolutely have a vested interest in demonstrating to the public that people who kill members of their class will face terrible repercussions.

In general, with them it’s less that they believe they’ll be CEOs, and more that because of their belief in hierarchy, they believe that anyone in power deserves to be there and should be respected. Just how they believe that women and BIPOC belong below them on the ladder, in their “proper” place (yes even the women believe that, internalized misogyny is a bitch)
