… sentencing guidelines suggest a from eight to 14 months in prison. His sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 7.
Back on June 25:
Former Bob’s Burgers voice actor Jay Johnston agreed today to plead guilty to federal charges stemming from his participation in the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. The 55-year-old actor […] faces multiple charges including civil disorder and disorderly or disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds.
i honestly tried to watch bob’s burgers since it’s been so widely and vigorously fellated, but never got beyond the “this is the dumbest, cringiest, unfuckingfunniest bullshit i’ve ever tried to watch” phase
With a fanbase only beaten on the insufferable meter by rick and Morty, and MLP.
When people say we should separate the artist from the art, I think of Jay Johnston. I do not want to support a fascist by purchasing art or entertainment they have created.
Employers should proactively inquire about one’s political leanings before hiring someone. Fascism, bigotry, racism, or other conservative ideologies should be disqualifying factors in employment. Period.
There is simply no room in a modern culture for hate-based ideologies like conservatism.
Employers should proactively inquire about one’s political leanings before hiring someone.
You surely see why this would be terrible, right?
No, he’s clearly a moron.
It’s the big problem with both extremes, the right is obviously evil but the extreme left say stupid shit like that, call for burning people and extreme acts of violence or discrimination that they deem okay because it’s on the ‘enemy’.
The left has gone kinda right.
The above commenter called for employers to discriminate against applicants on the basis of their political views. I simply pointed out that’s a bad idea and you went off about “both extremes” and how the left has gone too far.
I’m so sick of this shit. Yes, the j6er is a moron, but removing worker protections against political discrimination is also a moronic response to this issue. Who here is being “extreme”?
He doesn’t voice Bob. I know you were wondering.
In case anyone’s curious, he voiced Bob’s rival Jimmy Pesto. He’s since been recast and they did a great job. I wouldn’t notice the difference if I weren’t looking for it.
Which season was his last? And which season is the first I can hear the new actor? I want to compare.
From what I can tell from a quick look on the wiki, Johnston was fired after season 11, his last episode being season 11 episode 19, “Bridge Over Troubled Rudy,” after which the character was absent for several seasons, then recast as Eric Bauza in season 14 (which I believe is the most recent season at the moment), in particular season 14 episode 5, “Bully-ieve It or Not.”
(edit: added specific episodes)
I thought he was pretty good as the cop on The Sarah Silverman Program, too bad he’s an insurrectionist.
Finally! A Lemming of culture who remembers The Sarah Silverman Program. lol
Cop: Do you know why I’m standing here?
Sarah: Because you got all C’s in high school?
Who the hell did he play in Anchorman? 🤨
