Wait, really? I thought she was called something else, since the Queen’s husband was called the Prince concert.

Prince concert consort

FTFY

Camilla had the title of Queen consort, but the ‘consort’ was dropped the day she, and Charles, were coronated.

Her ‘Queen’ is nothing like Elisabeth’s ‘Queen’.

Ugh, there’s always something I miss with voice to text. So why was she the queen consort (and then queen) instead of the princess consort, like Elizabeth’s husband was the Prince consort (and stayed Prince consort)?

Because in that archaic system, Kings are greater than Queens, so if Phillip was King instead of Prince Consort, he would have outranked Elizabeth.
