The problem with disorders that don’t have a known, specific cause is that it’s not very easy to lay out a known, specific treatment.
That’s weird. Generalized anxiety disorder is really common.
Chortle was my favorite.
It seems like shorthand for signs that has been used enough that it’s basically normal now, like “lite” instead light, or “donut” instead of doughnut.
For lots of people with ADHD, they’ll put things off until a future moment when they’re more focused. It’s just an attempt to conserve a limited resource, but it doesn’t always work well.
To me, it’s a good reminder not to paint the past with too broad of a brush. People are people.
