Companies tend to outsource jobs to cheaper countries, so unless you got some super special rare skills that can’t be found anywhere in Europe or you want to compete with Indians for a crap hotline job, I’m afraid you’'re out of luck. Also as far as I know (this might be outdated information though) as an US citizen you’re required to pay income tax in the US no matter where in there world you’re working, meaning you’d be paying income tax twice, in the EU and the US.

Babbel is pretty good and made in Germany. There’s no free/ad-financed version though, only a free trial period before you gotta pay. There’s not a whole lot of gamification but it has a streak mechanism like Duolingo which is enough to keep me practicing daily.
Now that’s a weird coincidence, I only learned about Tony’s chocolate a few days ago cause there was a big product recall poster in my local supermarket and it kinda stuck in my mind cause I was wondering how TF do stones end up in chocolate. :D
So by their logic Moscow highrise buildings are legitimate military targets now?
Where in the EU would you need an off-road vehicle though? It’s not like we have a lack of roads or massive inaccessible wilderness.
That ghost archive site somehow only archived the paywall. Here is another link https://archive.is/JFLYk and the original page actually worked for me too, at least better that that ghost thing: https://www.thestar.com/news/world/why-this-french-tech-company-wants-to-build-an-internet-that-doesn-t-have-to/article_f996f5f8-bb97-4aa4-8a5b-fce551f14faf.html
