Assuming there is perfect information in the market. In reality there is heavy information asymmetry.

It also assumes free competition while we have every market dominated by a few players buying up everyone else, often with cartel like behavior.

But because of the belligerent attitude other countries stopped buying US debt, at a time where debt is exploding and up for renewable. Something is going to break.

Sounds like something he would say.

“You’ll see. They’ll pay us to receive their products. Soon they’ll pay us. And then we’ll have more dolls than we know what to do with. We’ll have so many dolls.”

That’s kinda how he rolls. Just ignore reality and bully everyone that says otherwise until people are too tired of it and change reality to what he says it is.

Probably provoke every neighbor until it’s a big active conflict in the entire region and then say they’re the only one capable of “maintaining peace” aka kill everybody so better start sending weapons.

It’s why there is also the category of ultra processed. That’s where they start to add fat, sugar, salt, dye and preservatives. That’s where things get unhealthy.
