I was just at a labor law conference recently and heard a presentation about all these challenges. While the lawyers representing workers in these cases were optimistic, and overturning the Wagner Act was unlikely, according to them, I’m still worried. Billionaires have limitless pockets for lawsuits against the NLRB.

In the end, if the NLRB ends up unconstitutional, there will be one good thing: we can start general strikes again and shut everything the fuck down.

I’m kind of confused about exactly how this could escalate further, given that there are at least two countries between Iran and Israel. Israel isn’t going to send ground forces into Iran, and vice versa. And I’m doubtful that as bad as Israel is, they would nuke Iran. Where could it go beyond intermittently bombing each other?

You know, the more I learn about this Trump character, the less I like him.

We shouldn’t have let them leave, we should have kept reconstruction going until 2050.

I think they were children, they were just the bullies. Anyone who loved 7th or 8th grade is suspect in my book.

I don’t get this one. Why is the surgical team passed out? Why can’t the doctors above help? What is going on???

Is it just a landing the plane analogy? Is that all?

It’s great. Not enough people, though.

I mean, this is supposed to be where the distinction between sex and gender comes up. So it’d be incorrect to say trans women are men, but correct (I guess) to say they’re male. I don’t know, I might be behind the times.
