It is! Whipped it up for the Political Memes community… and then got banned from Political Memes for ‘advocating violence’. Um… whoops.

Maybe it’s temporary? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Charity… my choice would be any of those most at risk by a turn in the political environment. Planned Parenthood, any LGBTQ+ resource… if you get a kick out of that meme enough to merit a $20 donation, I have a sneaking suspicion that the venn diagram of your values and mine is pretty close to a clean circle, so if there’s something specific you had in mind, you definitely don’t need my permission (not that you ever needed my permission on how to spend your own money, but you get the gist!).

Edit - To be clear, posting that image in this thread is the 2nd time I posted it. The first posting was in Political Memes here. I realized in hindsight that that might make the post in this thread -not- OC. I created the image, but the one here isn’t THE original.

Doesn’t seem like it’s advocating violence at all. It’s making fun of someone that did advocate violence when it came after them.

Repeating his contention that Mrs. Clinton wanted to abolish the right to bear arms, Mr. Trump warned at a rally here that it would be “a horrible day” if Mrs. Clinton were elected and got to appoint a tiebreaking Supreme Court justice.

If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks,” Mr. Trump said, as the crowd began to boo. He quickly added: “Although the Second Amendment people — maybe there is, I don’t know.

See also - that time Trump joked about Paul Pelosi getting bashed with a hammer

He’s consistently in favor of his political opponents being threatened with violence, it’s one of the few things he’s been consistent about in his life

Did you just mock somebody/somegroup by appending part of the Fibonacci sequence 😅

I get the “!!1!eleven!!” thing (presumably the 23 bit is just mocking some ridiculousness or vapidity…?) but I find it very amusing to read your comment that way. Call it comic relief if you like 🤷

One side cares about civility and condemns advocating violence, so the other side exploits that every chance they get.

condemns advocating violence

Surely you’re not talking about lemmy right? The past 5 days has been nothing but condoning and advocating for violence.

No, I’m talking about the official stance of Democrats, since they’re the only viable side to oppose the GOP.

Maybe the first time we wished a Republican would have leaned just a little more to the right.
