  • Radler: beer & lemon soda
  • Berliner Weisse: beer & raspberry syrup

Those are the two I know; there are others.

The Germans, who among all people are known for their long and storied association with beer above all else, regularly mix beer with random stuff. If they do it, Iโ€™d argue itโ€™s more normal than American purism.

Oh there is more:

  • Russ: wheat beer & lemon soda
  • Cola-Weizen: wheat beer & coke
  • KirschgoaรŸ: dark beer & coke & cherry liquor & cognac usually served as a 1L MaรŸ
  • Almradler: beer & Almdudler (an Austrian herbal soda)
  • at an Irish Pub: Irish Car Bomb: Stout & Irish Cream & Whiskey (itโ€™s surprisingly good and packs a punch)

Between it and a black and tan Iโ€™m fully convinced some people just associated things with Ireland and called beverages that without bothering to learn anything about the countryโ€™s struggle against colonialism.

Anyways please enjoy my new signature cocktail the 9/11, itโ€™s a tall glass of bourbon, Malibu, and everclear served flaming.
