No idea who convinced Trump this was a good idea - but THANK YOU!
I’m guessing it was his idea, and they couldn’t convince him not to do it.
There was no actual work done, the place wasn’t open to the public so there was no pressure. I highly doubt he did more than look at the actual workers show how stuff is done and then pose for photos that make it look like he’s doing anything.
The only thing missing was JD Vance going into a tailspin while trying to order as the most awkward human being alive.

Trump loves McDonalds and fast food in general. I have no doubt this was his idea.
Incidentally my favorite John Stewart segment is one where he tears into Trump for taking Sarah Palin to Sabarros for New York Pizza back in 2011.
