I am still amazed about how much money you can spend on making coffee at home. 300€ for a manual grinder - “that’s the cheao chinese stuff” wtf
I guess this is not the point of the comic but would this “thinking and deducting math” be a solution to not go insane from brain atrophy during solitary confinement?
I’m not from the US and to be honest, it still sounds like something “normal”. That’s not a rumor. That’s just something that happened. A rumor is more like “I heard our ethics teacher has a wooden foot and that is because she got stuck in a bear trap when scaring off a weasel while comforting our biology teacher who found a corpse while scuba diving in the town’s lake.”
Yeah I also noticed that person/account and it is insanely annoying. Don’t know what to do about it apart from reporting it
I’m sorry but this is bullshit.
So a person who has 200 million to their name is not worth “stealing” from? Billionaires? Just billionaires?
Sorry but anyone who has more than about 10 times the median income has already passed a point at which I can buy that their life’s work was so hard that their wealth is justified. (Personally I would set this factor even lower).
I am always flabbergasted by people trying to argue that having kids is illogical, selfish, unnatural, etc. Like, the fuck you think we’ve been doing as a species for millions of years? What ya think every other living being on earth is doing?
People trying to reinvent the wheel and making something mundane unnecessarily complicated just annoy the shit out of me. No one is forcing anyone to have kids (at least in societies that don’t ban abortions). You don’t want them or don’t feel equipped to have them - no one cares. But yeah let’s make your own insecurities and traumas and whatever personal reasons you have into an ideology that promotes that creating new life is bad per se.
Having kids is neither good nor bad. It is not selfish or altruistic. It just is. There is no need in overly moralizing it.
Tbh we wash them and use them for really dirty stuff. Like when you need to remove mold with a chlorine spray or poop from your shoes. Then they get tossed because there’s no way I am washing that again.
We’re phasing out single use sponges though, but now I don’t know what to use for the really dirty stuff.
