There’s a tiny café owned by a couple literally right around the corner from the nearest Tim’s to me.

It’s definitely a little pricier but FAR better quality. They’ve also got crapes and waffles and stuff. But sometimes I’ll just go in for a cappuccino.

I’ve become probably their best customer since I go there so often. Despite the fact that Tim’s is closer and cheaper.

Not only is it Canadian (plus some European products) it’s a local business. All the better.

Edit: That being said, Tim’s is cheap so that usually what I’ll have when the café isn’t an option. It’s not American owned thankfully. I wish it was still Canadian though.

In North America they teach that North America and South America are 2 separate continents.

When someone refers to “America” in the contexts of countries they 9 times out of 10 mean the US. Since people from there usually call themselves “Americans” rather than “United statians”

Yeah a lot of people will hear a very basic rundown of Linux from someone who has a bad experience with it (they installed it without reading anything) and they hate on it for life never looking into how things have improved.

A LOT of people in that crowd don’t even know about Valve proton and how well that works.

Same. I’ve been really hoping for a surface pro competitor especially from a Linux friendly company like Framework.

Still, this is a really good step in that direction.

A Linus tech tips video recently dropped about these laptops so TONs of people are going to the site. For such a small company they can only handle so much web traffic.

The only thing stopping me from switching to Linux is some college software (Won’t need it when I’m done) and 1 game (which no longer gets updates and thus is on the path to a slow sad demise)

So I’m on the verge of going Penguin.

You can get rid of basically any citizenship. It’s just often a bad idea. Particularly if you only have 1.
