Shooting guns at paper targets, sporting clays and other targets is tons of fun.i took my MIL to a quiet outdoor range to shoot for the first time in her life. A few months later she bought a Glock 17. Reduced capacity magazines because California, but she loves to go shooting.
Everyone in my area stays outside, no matter the weather. No kids knock on any doors. Also, no one leaves out a bowl, that shit would be gone in minutes. But people are outside with portable fire rings, music, some have cocktails for the adults. It’s the only night of the year all of the neighbors are outside and socializing. Honestly it’s great.
I do know some gay guys who are Trump supporters but to think gay men are a monolithic group is not surprising from this guy.
There’s research on this, it’s a confirmed human behavior. People park and sit etc near others. So good luck changing human nature.
I agree completely. I sleep outside a lot in the winter and I despise temps in the 30s F (0 to 5C). There’s nothing worse than near-freezing rain. It needs to be colder. But -40 is too cold. My house isn’t well insulated though and I’m not in a position to fix that right now.
“The rest of the world” is hardly monolithic. Some of the world despises American conservatives. Some of the world admires them. You know who almost none of the world looks up to? The US Democrat party. Authoritarian neolibs who don’t go far enough left for leftists, and don’t live up to their campaign promises to help the struggling masses, but are just as happy as Republicans when Wall Street is winning.
