I used to work in medical billing and dealing with UHC denied claims was the absolute worst. I’m actually surprised that the denial rate is 32%. It seemed much higher.
This is giving me flashbacks to my last job doing medical billing. Sometimes pressing 0 would not work.
What if you do not trust grandma to be your children’s primary caregiver? This is part of the reason I chose to not have kids. I knew I could not afford childcare. My mother would happily do it for free, but she is batshit crazy and unpredictable. I would not want her to have unsupervised access to my hypothetical children for 8+ hours a day, 5 days a week.

These states that declined the aid most likely want low-income people to have no choice but to rely on local churches for any help.
Who would want to teach with student behavior being out of control like this?
