I don’t understand their endgame here. I’m sure they could take over Canada by force if they wanted, but keeping it is a whole other matter. They should have learned from the many wars they fought that occupying land the locals don’t want you to occupy sucks.

If you’re worried about your cat running away you shouldn’t let it roam free.

Hard agree. Why do people always expect someone else to foot the bill for their parking needs?

Your car takes up space when parked. Somebody is paying for that space, so you need to do so when you park there. It’s not that difficult.

“who else but this guy could have designed this?”

I was thinking the exact same thing when I first saw the cybertruck. It just wasn’t In a good way.

Would this include a total revamp of everything in the cars?

Teslas product are inherently consumer hostile.

They are bad build quality,. The user interface is made to cut costs not good UX. You need a subscription for things already in the car. Autopilot shuts off just before accidents to not make Tesla liable for the incident.

The list just goes on.

Everything about that company screams “fuck you” at the people buying their product.

Not just good enough software. Also good enough cameras and good enough processing power. None of which curenty match humans so this is not a valid argument.

The camera only system is just worse at everything.

Sure it is. You just confiscate the infrastructure that operates them here on earth, and order their employees to comply.

I don’t think that this would be a good idea, but it is definitely doable.

They already have strategic control over Greenland. Denmark would let the USA do almost whatever they want on greenland.

Denmark probably were the USAs biggests bitch in Europe until they started threatening Greenlands sovereignity.

You can certainly argue that more control makes iPhones safer, since its harder to get malicious software on the phone. But Apple is also abusing their control for their own gain.

You could also argue that locking you in a room would be safer than letting you walk freely out in the world. But I don’t we want that either.

There isn’t really any getting away with. If what Apple does is within the law then the EU can’t prevent it. I’m sure somebody is looking into preventing Apple from doing it, but propper legislation takes time.
