I’m super excited about this release. It’s been a crazy amount of work over that last month, but I think it’s definitely paid off.

I hope you enjoy the update, please let me know if you have any feedback.

That’s great to hear! I really glad you’re enjoying it so far.

Than& you for the tip, I had honestly forgotten all about the confetti!

Haha, yeah. What it really came down to was scrolling through the comments in that post. I noticed a lot of issues with Markdown rendering for some edge cases. For a Markdown based platform, at the very least the clients should properly support Markdown rendering.

Thank you!

Arctic does support selecting text in posts and comments. You can access this feature using (•••) -> Select Text. I’m not sure how Voyager handles text selection, but in Arctic this will show a popup with the raw Markdown for copying.

Thanks for letting me know about this! I don’t spend much time in profiles and I had never noticed this before. Funnily enough, I actually fixed this issue by accident while updating the profile view the other day.

This update has taken far more time than I had intended, but it should be out very soon!

I have been working on the next update everyday. I have over a hundred bug fixes, enhancements, and new features for the next release. I know I had originally planned to release smaller, more frequent updates after the last one. However I started working on theming support, and this took several weeks to reach a stable point. Theming had much of the project in an unusable state during this time which made it difficult to release any smaller updates during that time.

I received several crash reports for the last release, all of which were related to the same issue. This issue has been a headache to resolve. I have it fixed now, but it has caused some unwanted effects I’m currently trying to resolve before rolling out the next update. On the other hand, fixing this issue also allowed me to make a lot of improvements to post processing resulting in more consistent post feeds.

I should hopefully have this ready in the next day or two.
