Donald Trump critics aimed ridicule at the president after he publicly demanded the removal of his portrait at Colorado’s state capitol building, calling it “truly the worst”.
In a post on his Truth Social platform on Sunday, Trump shared an image of the portrait and complained about the painting, saying it was bad and blaming it on Colorado’s governor, Jared Polis – whom the president insulted as being “radically left”.
A Republican admirer of Trump actually commissioned the portrait.
First of all, Streisand effect. I’d never heard of this portrait but now I had to look it up.
Second, it’s not great but it’s way better looking that his raggedy orange face. He should shut up and take the win.
You wanna see it? Here it is:
I don’t think it’s very good, and it’s in a style I don’t care for. It’s not that bad, though, and looks better than Trump himself.
Thank you for the head-on image of the painting.
It just looks like…a painting, rather than a photo. His face is a little broad (not chubby, just stretched horizontally), but that literally doesn’t matter?? It’s a painting. Not everyone can pull off (or even wants) photorealism in art.
It’s called negging. They think if you insult someone’s effort for you, they’ll just try to please you more. And they’re so fucked in the head, they fall for it themselves.

Looks like shit, remove this portrait immediately!

The portrait is on the other wall, Mister President, that one is a mirror.
They should replace it with one in this style. https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/1024/media/images/62450000/jpg/_62450358_restoredfresco.jpg
Now remember, the president is deeply offended by this painting. So no matter what don’t share this painting with anyone, it tell anyone about it. And definitely don’t tweet it at him or Musk or their followers. You should never make fun of Trump or his fragile ego because he had them take the painting down.
That’s actually a flattering depiction. There aren’t even weird white circles around his eyes and ears.
