When you use the data collected on you by your smart phone to create realistic expectations.
I wish businesses actually honored their closing timesโฆ At least twice in the past year Iโve gone to a place ten minutes before closing and theyโre closed.
If theyโre food places, thatโs either because the food takes longer than ten minutes, or because itโd been slow and theyโd started packing up, or they were lying because they wanted to go home on time. Almost nothing more annoying than someone coming right at the end of your shift to order food.
Stores should pay employees 30 minutes after closing time, or whatever is a realistic time it may take to serve the last client and close everything.
One was a used video game shop, the other a bike shop. I try not to get food near closing unless itโs fast food.
The 10 minutes before close guy is 100% why they close 15 minutes early. Itโs either that or the 10 minutes before close guy holds up the whole staff โ ainโt no straw boss trying to stay late.
itโs because people arrive 1 minute before closing time asking for a task that takes 15 minutes and the employees are rightfully fed with that, because the owner wonโt pay the extra time
I just wanted to buy Breath of Fire for my DS after getting off work on Fridayโฆ
Why the fuck not?
Those are really long business hours
If you find a system that works for you, by all means, rock it.
