She added that, rather than sleuthing, her community has “concepts of thoughts and prayers."

I’m dead. R.I.P. me.

Too fucking right.

Edit: I don’t have any “top Internet sleuthing” skills, but if I did, I sure as shit wouldn’t be helping the cops.

Remember kids, if you see something, shut your goddamn mouth, no you didn’t.

I’d help cops prosecute guys like that CEO. But we know that never happens, so…

The surge of social media posts praising and glorifying the killing of UnitedHealth CEO Brian Thompson is deeply concerning

“We might be next” is what they really mean.

I really hope, though I doubt it, that this is a turning point in the culture war and we can get back to the class war.

As long as CEO’s have a single moment of “Will this decision I’m about to make mean people might actually shank me?” resides in their thought processes, the world benefits.

Unfortunately, all that will get through their heads is, ‘I better hire more cops to babysit me’.

If you are referring to “the only ‘war’ that matters is the class war” then I completely disagree.

There’s a lot of struggles that people have to endure that have nothing to do with class and any failure to understand this will leave many bad parts of the system in place in people’s minds and the structures of society.

Being elevated back to a class where they belong could resolve a lot of those problems…instead they are being suppressed and pushed further downwards resulting in MORE struggles.

So before the election I’m having a conversation with my oldest brother whose wife works for a hospital in admin and he was lamenting about the fact the CEO of the hospital was fired “because of all the illegals getting free healthcare”. He was a tad upset when that garnered zero sympathy from me.

My brother, if you had socialized, single payer healthcare it would not only save you money, but would also cover all your so called ‘fraud’. AND as a bonus you could still have (very inexpensive) private insurance.

But what do I know, I’m just living in a country that has that.
