For fuckâs sake⌠How many more TV stars is he going to pick?
The guy was apparently a legislator before going to Fox, five terms in the House, and four terms as a district attorney prior to that.

Not really a transportation guy, but heâs put in his time in the government.
Letâs see who Trump had as Secretary of Transportation in his first term.
Hmm.

She did have a transportation background in two prior administrations. So heâs certainly had less experience with transportation than she has but I donât think Iâd just call him a TV star, either.
Be interesting to see some statistics on backgrounds of cabinet secretaries in the past, see how common tapping someone with just a legislative background is.
EDIT: The current Secretary of Transportation is Buttigieg. He doesnât really have a transportation background either, worked in Navy intelligence and was a mayor and apparently is the youngest guy to ever hold the office.
My father-in-law lives in his old district. I remember the name from that and
Duffy resigned his seat effective September 23, 2019, to care for a newborn daughter with a heart defect.
I guess that was longer ago than I remember (and in that time I had my own daughter born 3 months early. If I had the luxury of being able to quit my job and know I could keep my family afloat I would have done the same). Wonder how sheâs doing nowâŚ
⌠And I just looked it up before posting. Daughter has Down Syndrome, and her mom brought her on Fox News in what turned into an anti-choice bit with her saying other countries are âexterminatingâ Down Syndrome âNazi styleâ. Gross.
Trumpâs picks are really starting to sound like the setup to a 4-year long Aristocrats joke.
âThis is the true story of seven strangers picked to live in a house, work together, and have their lives taped. Find out what happens when people stop being polite and start getting realâŚâ
Theyâll ruin all the good work Pete did
