I was really hoping his parasympathetic nervous system would have been willing to take one for the team and plunged him into the fryer head first, but no such luck.

I thought maybe ‘parasympathetic nervous system’ was too obscure. I didn’t even know what it was until I went to the Mayo clinic.
But also, I decided fuck it.
The parasympathetic system is responsible for stimulation of “rest-and-digest” or “feed-and-breed”[4] activities that occur when the body is at rest, especially after eating, including sexual arousal, salivation, lacrimation (tears), urination, digestion, and defecation
I had earlier suggested he stick his dick in the fryolater…that sounds more likely to be something triggered by the parasympathetic nervous system than his head.
Although I’ve never heard “rest and digest” or “feed and breed” as comparable to “fight or flight”. I suppose this is the mechanism of action for finding your way to a mans heart via his stomach.
“Feed and breed” will be definitely oing on the invitations for my next potluck-slash-orgy.
Coping mechanism
Yeah, it’s sad and hilarious that he thinks this will help him look relatable instead of like an out-of-touch dipshit who has never worked an honest day’s labor in his life.
