BTW, if you use Ublock, it’s time to switch to Firefox. Google have pushed a major change to all Chrome based browsers (that includes Edge, Opera, and pretty much every other browser that isn’t Firefox) that intentionally breaks Ublock Origin, Adblock Plus, and other adblockers. If you want to keep blocking ads (and you should) Firefox is your only remaining refuge.

There is webkit if you enjoy pain. But firefox is pretty cool. Especially with custom css themes.

You have plenty of options to move to. So move to them.

Firefox because they’ll still be able to use uBlock Origin, librewolf, brave (I know, I know but I’m able to block ads with them still), Vivaldi, etc. basically as long as they aren’t chrome or edge you should be good.

Oh I thought plenty of options -besides uBlock-. But apparently that was exactly what you wanted to accentuate.

Firefox is so good. It’s one of the rare cases where there are literally only upsides and no downsides to switching to it. The only thing I use chromium for is WebGPU stuff, since Firefox doesn’t have support for that quite yet.

Ublock origin’s website says to use ublock origin lite, which is a manifest v3 version that should continue to work albeit not as well.

Some chromium based browsers will continue supporting v2 extensions. Chromium is said to continue v2 support until June 2025.

Firefox is the best choice as they have no plans to drop the support ublock origin relies on.

Like… Yes, i know. I thought y’all are talking about -alternatives to ublock- but nope, seems like ublock is still the best way to go.
