Basically what the title says. I first noticed that maybe 2 weeks ago, instead of showing the vote count of the post, Sync just shows me a blank space between the up- and downvote arrows:

Has this something to do with Lemmy or Sync itself? Has anyone else noticed that?

We’re you able to resolve this? If not did you check if this is enabled?

Settings shortcut: Account settings > Show scores

No, I wasn’t able to resolve this… Till now! I didn’t even know that there was this option! Was this added in an update? I can’t remember to have disabled the score count

I think it’s been there for a while but some update reset the status of it.

Since others don’t seem to be having this specific issue, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Sync? Maybe some data on your phone got corrupted? 🤷

It definitely is the next thing I will try, but I thought it would be better to ask the hivemind for solutions first :D

Which view is that? I can see spaces with some views and vote counts with others.

Small Cards - no vote count Cards - no vote count Slides - vote count is there

Normally I use Smaller Cards, so I don’t see a vote count anytime until I open a post.

I have Slides enabled, it has the nicest viewing experience for me - until now

I see vote counts. Is it possible that your instance blocks them for some reason?

No, not that I know of. When I open Lemmy in the webview of my instance (feddit.org) I can still see the votes

Edit: Corrected spelling mistake in instance name. Damn you, auto correct!
