So I just signed up for Mbin at Fedia.IO, and part of the registration says it will send out an email to complete the registration. Great!

It’s been like 10 minutes with nothing in “all mail” and nothing in the trash or spam folders either. Is this something I need to wait a while for, or has something gone wrong, and I should contact their staff somehow?

Can you shoot me an email at jerry@infosec.exchange and I’ll track it down for you? My apologies for the trouble.

Are you saying each registration is manually approved by that person? And therefore may take some time?

Or are you saying I should contact them and ask them whats wrong?

Idk if admins need to manually approve registration applications for Mbin. Many smaller Lemmy instances are set up that way, so it may also be the case for Mbin.

Regardless, whether the registration is reviewed manually or automatically, the admin is the one who will be able to help you.
