Never thought I’d see the day where he censored a bunch of white dudes but here we are.

He is not a free speech absolutist that’s for sure

He’s more of an absolute piss baby

I’ve heard Musk referred to as a piss baby moreso than other dickheads in the public eye.

Is there some story I’ve missed out on, or is it just a generic insult that’s somehow stuck to Musk more than it has to others?

Well his own speech is absolutely free. I’m pretty sure that’s what he meant.

He’ll also trample absolutely any rules necessary to support speech he happens to agree with.

Yeah how is this feller making sense of this in his own head? I can hardly believe I once thought this guy had love in his heart.

It’s obvious, he tried making sense for a long time and it just didn’t work out. He then chose and tailored an audience for the cost of Twitter so he could have an audience that logic does not apply to.

(Note he said that after the “free speech absolutist” claim.)

Well, then I’m going to start writing to my representatives to start passing laws to hold those who spout transphobia and speciesism accountable to the law.

Not to mention that one of the first things he did upon taking ownership of Twitter was to game the entire thing so his own tweets get the most attention on the site.

Honestly, I think that White Dudes for Harris should sue the platform for an illegal contribution to the Trump campaign. It is by definition a media platform and by denying the account they’ve clearly crossed a line.

He’s all about free speech he absolutely agrees with.

Elon Musk doesn’t have NPD. And accusing people of being disabled is not an epic burn. It’s only an insult if you think disabled people are worth less than neurotypicals. Sensible people don’t hate the disabled, so calling him a n*rcissist isn’t an insult.

Calling him neurotypical is a bigger insult. Because it implies that all of his weirdness is a choice.

Ie. Displaying narcissism and being a narcissist and having a narcissistic personality disorder are all different things with different definitions which can be applied in different ways.

Calling him a narcissist isn’t really an insult either way. It’s just a fact about him. The dude only cares about himself.

They are an advocacy group, they go where their audience is. Of you are looking for white dudes what’s the point of looking for them in the fediverse, where 98% of them already agree with you?

Eh, if they were doing it on Mastodon nobody would see their campaigning. And of that tiny amount that do see them, they’d mostly be preaching to the choir.

For an average user you have a point, though.

As people have pointed out, they’re an advocacy group, and trying to reach less aware people. The fact that Elon banned em shows it was most likely working.
