I just got banned from r/videos for saying Jake and Logan Paul don’t deserve oxygen. lol
Fair, saying people you don’t like / disagree with should just go die is hate speech, after all.
they literally went into the Japanese suicide forest looking for a body for video “content”. they are trash people.
That’s a different flavor of statement than saying they should fucking die of lack of oxygen. Learn to understand nuance, mate.
I got a permanent ban for quoting a movie, in a post about that movie, because the quote contained a slur. My new account got a permanent ban because I made a joke that wasn’t racist but happened to be about an Indian guy. Reddit sucks ass.
No
That’s definitely not why you got banned, there are hundreds of spammers on reddit and most of them are still posting.
EDIT: that and reddit doesn’t actually ban bots, that’s their main source of income
Bro Reddit is pure bot bullshit. Every sub is just generic Ai scraped questions. My favorite subs are literally 100% inane questions repeated over and over, there’s no content. It’s just “what do you think about XYZ?!” And there’s 4k comments that are almost the same as the last time it was asked. The place is fucking garbage
No stupid questions, but repeatedly asking variations of the same question referencing your ban from reddit might catch up with you eventually.
Yeah, while these questions have mostly been too ridiculous to be considered, repeatedly asking what precisely warrants a ban sounds like you’re looking to walk that line.
Just don’t walk the line and don’t consider your wildest Reddit experiences as that line.
In particular, there is no point in asking these questions, because as we already elaborated on the first post, no one knows what will get you banned from individual communities or instances, since there’s a lot of different humans involved in the decisions.
But the community is smaller, so if you’re posting good content and interacting with people in a friendly way, the moderators will likely know you and gladly give you the benefit of the doubt.
