Not a woman, but nobody told us we would have to clean up other people’s kid’s asses.
Like, you kind of know that you have to clean your own children. But at some point they will have friends over who cannot yet clean their own shit up. And you’re going to be the only grown up available.

What actually happens, not sugarcoated as “the magic of motherhood”, and not obfuscated with medical jargon. I wish everyone going through pregnancy and birth had a midwife/doula available to them.
