Speaking for myself, I wouldn’t have an issue if an SO wanted to make AI (or traditional art) pornography of me.
But that seems like it’d be a personal thing, and I doubt that anyone here is likely to have a much-better picture of what your SO wants or doesn’t than you. I think that if you guys have a solid relationship, that if you’re not sure, you should at least be able to talk about something like this and your SO should be able to express their opinion on it. I mean, gotta be able to communicate in a relationship.
If you do do it, I would suggest one thing — if you make something, whether it uses conventional art techniques or AI or sculpt them or whatever and it differs in some way from their real life selves — I imagine that they might take it as an indication that you’d prefer the virtual creation to them as they are. If you start fiddling with their body, have it deviate from its real-life form, maybe they worry that they don’t look the way you’d like them to. If you put makeup on them, clothing that they don’t wear, have them pose, whatever, even inadvertently — and with AI image generation in 2025 in particular, it’s hard to have perfect control over what gets produced — they might take that as something that you want them to do.
I did. She basically said she thought it would be disturbing. I completely agreed. She also said she it wouldn’t be weird if the ai porn didn’t resemble her.
I’m really just trying to gauge what people think of ai porn.
Normal porn is fine, though, I don’t really know the benefit of Ai porn.
It’s unethical if it’s without consent.
But to ask for consent I need to gauge what their reaction might be.
I mean my friend would.
Because he is the one who asked me to ask.
That just sounds like giving personal details to a 3rd party that they might not be consenting of.
Why would it be a compliment?
Because given the option of any person in the worl… listen I just need to know what AI porn am I allowed to create without freaking my SO out. I understand the answer is probably none but the pursuit of happiness is what this country was founded on!
Using AI for anything more than diagnosing cancer or scrubbing toilets is unethical
