I’m convinced my wife is at least partially a reptile. The inability to maintain body heat is amazing.

Im pretty sure my wife’s feet secrete ice. They are somehow still freezing cold despite being in the thickest socks I could find.

My wife refers to the electric blanket as the single best thing that has ever happened to her. She says she doesn’t need me anymore.

Fun fact estrogen makes people feel colder. Many trans women, including myself, have a much harder time staying warm after starting hrt. I don’t remember the exacts but it changes blood flow and makes it easier to lose heat

I thought I read somewhere that it directed more to the core instead of the extremities

My core is a god damned furnace.

My feet? My hands???

Icicles.

It’s painful! I shove my hands into my armpits to warm them but my feet can’t contort like that.

Mine is always cold, but turns into a fucking nuclear reactor when she falls asleep.

A mobile thermonuclear reactor that needs to cuddle. I need a cool bottle of water nearby at all times to prevent overheating.

let’s try bleeding monthly for a week for a couple of decades and see if we can still keep our feet warm

we should also spend half of that month with a lower body temperature

Mine’s a heat battery. Normally colder than anyone around, but let’s go cuddle and sleep and 1h later I’m overheating after she reached critical heat and started radiating it back.

What do you mean by that?

There’s an infamous comic titled “Loss” and it’s become a meme to try to remind people of it by making other comics with a similar arrangement of characters. The comic in this post has kind of a reversed arrangement, so one might see it as the opposite of Loss, therefore “Found”.

Ah I figured it had something to do with Loss but I couldn’t see the resemblance at all

Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.

The rules are simple:

  • The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author’s website, for instance).
  • The comic must be a complete story.
  • If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
  • You may post comics from others or your own.
  • If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
  • The comic can be in any language, but if it’s not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post’s ‘body’ field (note: you don’t need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
  • Politeness.
  • Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.
