The reason why people like this keep getting elected is because people will go into the voting booth and vote strictly on party lines. They donāt consider the platform of any given candidate they just go down the line and check all the boxes that say Republican/Democrat.

Yeah, I see a lot of that locally where Iām at. That line of thinking. I donāt think the average voter actually checks voting records of the candidates and sees if they align with what is good for them, their neighbour, community, etc. They just assume that ātheirā party are the good guys. Itās likeā¦ okaaaay, but can you articulate why? And not talking points either. Are you struggling with health care costs? Whoās actually voted for stuff that would help you.

Thatās exactly right. Per relatives and such who vote that way.
So far: Jan 6 was just bad players, not an insurrection. Trump did nothing wrong. Trump had the documents ready to go, waiting for a pickup, but they were dramatic about picking them up. And heās not great but heās good about showing the dem double standard. On what, exactly, Iām not sure.
