Kamala Harris has launched her campaign for the White House, after President Joe Biden stepped aside Sunday under pressure from party leaders.
The vice president has Bidenâs endorsement, and is unchallenged as yet for the Democratic nomination, which will be formally decided at the Aug. 19 convention in Chicago.
âI am honored to have the Presidentâs endorsement and my intention is to earn and win this nomination,â Harris said in a statement. âI will do everything in my power to unite the Democratic Partyâand unite our nationâto defeat Donald Trump and his extreme Project 2025 agenda. We have 107 days until Election Day. Together, we will fight. And together, we will win.â
In her statement, the vice president paid tribute to Bidenâs âextraordinary leadership,â saying he had achieved more in one term than many presidents do in two.
Donât cut yourself on that edge, man.
Here in the real world, which you should spend some time in, Kamala Harris can win, but that doesnât mean she will win, and people should recognize that, of course. But fuck fatalism.
Why do you say that? Can you explain yourself beyond just an absolute statement?
She can.
Want to keep going like this? Or do you maybe want to have a real conversation and express a point beyond fatalism?
