I kind of agree with them. Having everyone talking about murder is kind if terrifying.

I know it is, but it’s important that people don’t forget about the hundreds of thousands of people murdered by insurance companies denying claims every year.

Are you a ceo of an evil corporation that kills thousands a year? If not, your pretty safe.

There are plenty of people who would replace him in a heart beat.

Murdering never really accomplishes anything

If murder never accomplishes anything, why do governments spend so much money on militaries?

I think that’s a totally different problem not solved by shooting replaceable executives

There’s an analogy that Robert Heinlein liked regarding assassination

It’s like shooting horses that can’t clear a jump until you get one that can

But it misses the fact that humans see what happened to the last guy and are motivated to not let it happen to them, and in cases like this it’s pretty obvious what hurdles health fund CEOs need to clear

I honestly prefer this to bombings and riots and such. At least its targeted. These problems are not a magical effect coming from the ether. Its decisions by those in power and every replacement is an opportunity for better decisions.

It will not solve the problem, for sure, but I can’t disagree that it could have some effect xD.

Less terrifying than normalized murder that executives commit with “just good business”.
