Summary

During a meeting with House Republicans, President-elect Donald Trump publicly mocked Elon Musk, saying, “Elon won’t go home. I can’t get rid of him,” as Musk has spent extensive time with Trump recently.

The comments were seen as an assertion of Trump’s dominance, with MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell noting the uncomfortable laughter from the room.

Musk has been tapped to co-lead the new “Department of Government Efficiency” (nicknamed “DOGE”), a role critics describe as superficial.

Observers predict Trump and Musk’s alliance may sour due to their clashing egos.

It’s nice to know cracks are beginning to appear in his administration not even 10 days post-election. The more people opposing Trump the better for almost everyone. Even if it’s bastards opposing bastards.

They won’t oppose each other. They may not like each other at some point, but their goals are completely aligned, which is the fascist takeover of america by Corporate interests.

McConnell already blocked Trump’s ally from becoming the senate majority leader. The new leader is someone who criticized Trump for Jan 6, among other things.

Oh they will. They’re both raging narcissists. Neither Trump or Elon gives two shits about corporate interests or anything else but their own comfort and ego, and they cant share a spotlight for long. I cannot wait for Trump to try to revoke Elons citizenship and have him deported.

Right, but Trump isn’t president yet. If he can throw enough people under the bus before January 20th… lol

He’s starting the dictator playbook too early. Biden is literally offering to hand him power, all he hast to do is wait and not do anything stupid.
