This is not my personal opinion, I know Gen Z men who voted for Harris. But the voter demographics really speak for themselves, and maybe now people will look at the radicalization of young men as a serious (but solvable) issue.

Lemmy right now is saltier than the earth of Carthage after the Romanā€™s victory.

Well you see, many of us donā€™t care for fascism or dictatorships and we arenā€™t looking forward to Trump adding two additional genocides- those of queer and brown people in the U.S.- to the world.

You may feel differently, I donā€™t know.

And that motivates branding Gen Z males as ā€˜Hitler Youthā€™?!

Get out of here, lmao.

I responded to this comment:

I did not respond to a comment about Gen-Z males and Hitler Youth.

I respond to what people write, not what they expect me to read from their mind.

Are you surprised? America just voted away all its freedoms and democracy

Iā€™m a young queer man(-ish) and after voting for Kamala have never felt more at fault for literally every problem the US has than whenever I open Lemmy. The blue party that Iā€™ve been registered to and campaigned for since day one seems exceedingly good at making sure I know that, despite everything, somehow Iā€™m the problem.

Like fuck, I finally get why people suddenly get the urge to be ā€˜the fucking problemā€™ after being told they are the problem for so long.

Sure.

Lemmy, like Reddit, ainā€™t never been nice, and now itā€™s in total meltdown. So basically, double the ā€˜ainā€™t niceā€™

lots of people are very uneasy right now, donā€™t do anything youā€™ll regret, friend.

ā€˜the problem is young menā€™ is such a half baked ā€˜analysisā€™, kids have always been edgy bastards, I donā€™t think that will ever change, and the revolting youth have always been to blame.

If the dems are making you feel that way, I donā€™t know why youā€™d campaign for them. Better organising can be done in your Union.

Bold of you to assume unions will still be a thing in America in the near future.

Could you clarify what you mean by union?

Not a good look for your side, not a good look.

If there ever will be a true left-populist candidate, they can call your side ā€œevil-for-evil-sakeā€ and ā€œill intentionedā€.
