This might be asking a bit much but could you try to sell me Tidal, if you got the time? I thought about quitting Spotify for some time but have not so far.

It costs the same (or even less by now?), has virtually the same library and (if you are into that) offers higher quality music files. Oh and the biggest plus: doesn’t platform nazis like Rogan.

For an alternative, I went to Deezer and love it. You should look at some comparisons to see if one is better for you.

Sure thing. It’s the same service in pretty much every respect. Except without Joe Rogan profiting from it because of some insane $250 mil agreement to push his toxic right wing misinformation show.

They have the same music, the same podcasts, same general search and playlist features. They don’t ever try to upsell anything or play ads. They’re also $3 cheaper than Spotify.

Even without the Rogan nonsense, I would have switched to Tidal if I had known about it.

He’s bugging me!” and “I’m not touching you!” Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.
