The European Parliament overwhelmingly passed an emergency resolution Thursday condemning the Chinese government’s persecution of Uyghurs and urging China to immediately and unconditionally release detainees, including Uyghur economist Ilham Tohti and Gulshan Abbas.

The resolution is fueled by widespread concern from the international community and highlights its continued concern about the human rights situation in Xinjiang.

Stop misrepresenting what I’m saying. For the third time:

I am saying there is no genocide in China, because if there was, other Muslim countries would respond.

Well the first paragraph claims “Forced birth control and sterilization policies targeting Uyghurs in China’s far western Xinjiang Province were intended to reduce the group’s population”, which is proven false by the increase in population and life expectancy.

For example, minority ethnic groups in China were not subjected to its well-publicized (former) one-child policy.[2][3]
