The provincial maximum on rent-controlled apartments last year was 2.5 per cent, but Sharpeās building has no limit because Ontario Premier Doug FordĀ removedĀ controls on any rental units built or occupied after November, 2018.
Yet another thing that our Conservative Premier here in Ontario has done, yet the public is still going to blame the federal government.
