Played about 5 minutes when a friend invited me and uninstalled, thought it might be interesting if the shooting mechanics were tight but it feels like a port of a console shooter to PC circa 2010. Really disappointing this is what we get from Valve.

AAAAA studios do not get a pass anymore. Billion dollar companies have zero excuses in my eyes. Don’t care the company or what they produce. Defending these companies is nothing more then Stockholm syndrome.
Not an excuse… You apparently don’t know what alpha is if you think the definition changes based on who makes it. It means you should expect it to be unpolished, full stop. Many major bugs and technical issues define what is called an alpha.

Also I’m not sure how someone who barely plays games has Stockholm syndrome. My only skin in the game here is I think valve is normally decent.
