It’s when a thong sticks up past the pants. It resembles a whale’s tail.

This right here. I can see where maybe if the leggings color was any skin color, and then the seam was a different color, MAYBE it would look like a whale tail, but otherwise it really doesn’t

No, someone else posted a link to the actual leggings here. They just have a seam that looks quite similar.
