I take it you’re not excited for the game. If they could deliver on all of their promises, do you think that you could find some part of it to like?

I didn’t think I’ve seen much of anything on Lemmy.

I’ve considered joining in on community games from the MCDM discord, the company that Matt Colville started. Lots of YouTube content for you to get an idea of what his deal is and the kind of community they’re trying to foster.

I think being on Lemmy is part of the issue. The Venn diagram of people who left Reddit for Lemmy and the people who support pie in the sky games like SC doesn’t have a whole lot of overlap in the middle, I wouldn’t think.

Anyway, any particular gameplay loop you’re excited for?

I thought of that, but I don’t think I’m the best fit for that kind of time investment.

It has spoilers for everything up through Buu, but I don’t know that it would ruin anything for you. Spoilers, the good guys tend to win.

Every comment in these posts seems to be either “StarCitizen killed my family and dishonored my temple” or “can’t believe people let SC kill their family and dishonor their temple.”

Same old hate without real substance.

The video is a redo from the guy who did it live at Citizen Con, because the demo crashed when they were onstage.

Is there a Lemmy community for people who don’t just shit on the game? Tired of just hearing about how it’s a scam. Does anybody play this and enjoy it?

Very cool, thanks for sharing. I’ve always been curious about the process, but not enough to really look into it. How involved are you with the entire process? Anything further than cultivation?

Where did you learn that? Is that a real thing people are taught?
