I don’t think the real libertarian types will forget Jones’s enthusiasm for a police state, as long as 'his guy’s is the one in power.
I mean… The vast majority of self proclaimed libertarians I’ve met feel that way when you press them on that the state should do, rather than what it shouldn’t do. No quarter when enforcing property rights in an economic system that creates large amounts of poverty requires a police state.
Citizens commit crimes at a higher rate than immigrants. Both legal and illegal.

It’s worth noting that there used to be multiple .gov sites hosting information about this, but they are all dead links now.
Fuck this administration and anyone who thinks what’s happening is remotely ok.
@uuldika@lemmy.ml is right. I hunt and track asteroids. If I’m offending on behalf of an empire with this work, the empire is humanity and the offense is against chunks of rocks in space
I worked in the analysis tool division of a company that built civilian and military jets when I was fresh out of engineering school.
I didn’t feel too bad about it because I was making commercial aircraft quieter and more efficient with my work. Then, the Iraq war started up and they told me I had to work on the engine for the F22. I started looking for a new job that day.
Now I work in planetary defense and don’t feel guilty about it…
