Yep. I used to work in a store where people would ask if some specific food or drink could be paid for by food stamps/EBT all the time. I was like, idk, lets run it and see. 50/50 chance you can buy anything, and no explanation for what’s covered and what isn’t. It sucks to tell someone they can’t buy their favorite food for their birthday.

My insurer just announced that the addiction counseling service that used to be provided for free to members is going away. Is addiction no longer a medical issue?

When children are kidnapped, the kidnapper is most often a family member. It happened to a good friend of mine. I don’t see what good cell phone location tracking really does against that, though. A kidnapper can simply take a child’s phone away and toss it.

I’ve never heard of children putting an ice pack in their lunchbox. No one did this when I was in school.

Personal experience causes me to doubt.
