I too grew up in the in that era. But grew up in the Detroit area where nearly everybody knew something about cars due to how many people worked in the auto industry and how the knowledge was prevelant and shared amongst friends and peers. Auto shops were still a thing, but largely used for jobs nobody wanted to do, didn’t have access to the tools, or didn’t have the time to invest
Sweet.
In the next 5 years nobody will have to use computers anymore.
I love how AI is being used to solve problems that don’t exist! It’s the biggest boon for society ever!
I had an ex tell me once that I wore too much brown and dull greens.
Since then I’ve been aware of my color choices and have a lot of “loud” colors in my wardrobe. I will even intentionally wear clashing colors and have made it a style choice.
I still have browns and dull greens, but I have fun with them now.
All that said, I’ll wear something until it starts wearing out then that’ll be relegated to chore/diy project clothes.
I’m glad my employer said, “you’ve been working hard. I comped you a day so you can rest and recover.”, the last time I wasnt feeling well (allergies got the best of me and I was a mess). Even though I’ve accrued nearly 2-weeks of sick time at this point.
I’m fortunate that I don’t work for a shitty company anymore.
Man, if it wasn’t for the antagonistic shit riddled throughout that post I’d engage and cheer him on. And the way he talks about his girlfriend in that post is a little worrisome. He’s doing that same antagonistic shit when talking about her.
He’s so clearly got main character syndrome and believes the world is out to get him. If he took the time to be self reflective in his personal interactions as much as he did about his physical health he might be a person I could actually engage with.
The left actually knows this and is still left.
