Vote for no Republicans. No excuses. No exceptions.
True, they could push a lot harder to the left. But let’s be realistic, if they did they would lose at the polls because the US is like 75% center or right.
Pandering to the center right is NOT effective. They need to have the courage to stop being afraid of alienating the people who aren’t going to vote for them anyway and make some actual change happen.
Republican-lite isn’t selling these days.
I want you to know that I unchecked this box today solely because of you. You post too much that is interesting to block you, but damn that spinny wheel of distraction and death, you m_f. 🙂
You’re like that guy from the 2000’s - seemed like there was one on every forum - who had the little gif of a gnat walking on your screen as an avatar.
The people who benefit from life being bad for 99% of us, pick small marginalized groups and blame them.
Yep.
I am deeply disappointed in my fellow americans, and I absolutely find our conservatives in particular to be selfish, bigoted, reprehensible pricks, but bottom line is there’s no war but class war.
It’s not the death of a CEO that makes Luigi Mangione so scary to the 1%. They give no shits about his life any more than they do ours. They can beef up their security and go back to ignoring the herd of human resources just like before.
But folks on the US left and right were vocally behind him for a time. I think it shocked everyone, at all levels, a little bit, at how relatively little it took to rouse some class-consciousness. It was definitely noticed.
Edit - I suspect, but do not know, that this is also somewhat true for Elon and Tesla. I have this feeling that there’s a sizable chunk of the US-right who hate him just as much as the US-left does, they just don’t feel empowered to openly express it.
And yet R would vote him in again tomorrow.
You’re normalizing the outrageous.
Yes let’s keep victim blaming.
