If they care so much about how another country works that they want to replicate that where they live, their options are to campaign and make those changes in their country through a lot of political activism and a lot more luck; or move to the country they admire which just requires some paperwork.

One of those options feels harder than the other.

I’m right there with you. I was actually considering the model 3 for a while. Even put a deposit down. Then Elon started showing his true colors around when the cybertruck was announced and it just felt wrong to keep supporting him.
