Just listening to the album again thanks to your post. Forlani is a killer track. I hadn’t noticed it before, but it reminds me a lot of a band called Burst from Sweden (I believe?). Their album prey on life also came out in 2003 and you may dig it if you haven’t already got into them.

Haha, funny, I’m an old bass player and it turns out and recommended these dudes to everyone. You’re not based in NZ by chance?

I hear ya. Well its good to know that there are least 2 bass players in the world pushing Burst on to their band mates.
