I’m on a Mac, can I set something like that up?

I’m a bit of a noob with all this stuff, I run it off a Mac Mini. Can I still do this?

You can get a used M1 Mac mini for not much more

I think a big difference here is you can actually play the game off the cart. I’m less motivated to buy a PlayStation game on disc if it’s going to make me install it to the drive anyway.

I use an M1 Mac mini. It might be a little overkill, but I use the mini as a server for many things other than jellyfin too. encodes are lightning quick with no fan noise or heat and very low power consumption.
