⚠️ I follow and comment on NSFW stuff. There’s no way to mark a profile as NSFW, yet, so I thought I should let you know.
35m UK. Fanboy, gaymer, Digg (and Reddit?) refugee, ADHDer, occasional writer/designer/editor, lefty (handedness), and lefty (political).
For the first time, I’m kinda glad the UK uses First Past the Post. Especially with ministers resisting calls to block oversized donations from Musk: https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2024/dec/21/ministers-resist-calls-to-block-musk-donations-to-farages-reform-uk 🤦♂️
Presumably it’d be easier for Musk’s favoured parties to gain (a meaningful amount of) influence in countries with proper PR?
Does it turn on? If it can record videos, it’s a 3GS.
Maybe it’s ads. Maybe it’s subscription fees.
It’s subscription fees. They’ve already announced it. It’s literally on their blog, and they’ve talked about it in their Twitch (they didn’t do a VoD so here’s a link to a YouTube video) and Reddit Q&As.
“In addition, we will begin developing a subscription model for features like higher quality video uploads or profile customizations like colors and avatar frames. Bluesky will always be free to use — we believe that information and conversation should be easily accessible, not locked down. We won’t uprank accounts simply because they’re subscribing to a paid tier.”
Maybe they just end up selling all your data off to their 1,000+ data broker partners.
I don’t really see how they could, seeing as pretty much everything (including Likes) is already public.
Is it because all the AI editing tools mean your “photos” don’t necessarily correlate with your “memories” any more? 😅
Yeah, I’m afraid that was a scam, not Samsung.
Samsung’s policy updates will in open a full-screen, white view in the same style as the rest of their OS (similar to the visual appearance of the Galaxy Store settings), just so you can keep that in mind for next time. ✌️
Honestly, props to Queer Child. I wouldn’t fucking bother. 🤷♂️
I love my Grip case. Love being able to occasionally reskin it to get a “new” case.
Their subreddit gives the impression their build quality is shit, but I’ve noticed a lot of people with problems saying “I’ve only taken the case off a handful of times” or “I usually swap cases every few weeks, but I noticed…”
Like, surely just put the case on the phone until it wears out? For protection? Rather than prising it off and being surprised when it loses its strength? I dunno, each to their own I guess. 😅
