This is why you don’t let your domain registration lapse. It’s not the only way computers on the internet verify each other’s identity, but a hell of a lot of internet security features are based around domain names, so keeping yours functioning is a very big deal.

This is a fucking childish take. If you don’t like what Google is doing with Chrome that’s one thing, but acting as if the code itself is evil is just straight-up magical thinking.

You can dump energy into something by blasting photons at it, because photons carry energy. You can’t do the reverse because you’d need to use particles with negative energy. Either that, or you’d need to suck photons out of the food, but it doesn’t work that way; things radiate photons at a specific frequency and intensity (called blackbody radiation) depending on how hot they are, and you can’t make them emit more energy except by getting them hotter.

As a ST+SW fan, half of me likes myself, but the other half doesn’t like the first half.

Lifetime appointments mean they don’t owe anyone shit. They have nothing to gain by being loyal to the party that appointed them. There are better ways to accomplish the same thing, but it’s at least one facet of how the court works that seems to do what it’s supposed to.

You mean all the stuff they can easily outsource and still make a profit? You make it sound like landlords are doing us a favor.

Why don’t I just become a billionaire too while I’m at it? Oh right, because I can’t just opt into having the money to be part of the ownership class.

Right, because rich people “earned” their money. Good one.

Sure, let’s just ignore all the rape because the defendants are stupid.

I don’t know if it’s true or not, but I’ve read that when places become more temperate because of climate change, they’re still not very livable because there’s no soil capable of supporting crops.
