Nach Hochbahn-Angaben werden auf der gesamten U4 von den Elbbrücken bis zur Horner Geest und auf der U2 zwischen Mümmelmannsberg und Christuskirche sechs Stellwerke auf den automatisierten Betrieb umgestellt. 21 Haltestellen und 25 Kilometer Strecke würden auf das Zusammenspiel zwischen U-Bahn-Fahrzeugen, Streckeninfrastruktur und Stellwerken vorbereitet. Das Investitionsvolumen für das Projekt “U-Bahn100”, das bis 2029 abgeschlossen sein soll, betrage rund 200 Millionen Euro<
Ich find das Projekt echt super, aber was ist das für ein zeitlicher Rahmen? Im Artikel klingt es so, als ob die Stellwerke das einzige sind, was tendenziell länger dauern könnte. Werden die komplett neu gebaut?
As others have said private boats are probably the best bet, but there are also sailing cruises which cross the atlantic, I believe the Alexander Humboldt stationed in Bremen makes that trip once a year. There are also other ships that I forgot the name of. It is really expensive though
The kWh/1000h does convey more information than just W though. If I buy a fridge and it says 100W I wouldn’t know if that’s its max power draw or average over time. With the 1000h in there it’s pretty clear we are talking about the average.
Also people who aren’t technically minded might only know “kWh” as that’s what it states on your power bill and they can directly guess what kind of energy bill this fridge might cause.
So you are technically correct I guess and we all know that’s the best kind of correct.
We do have worse stuff in the metric system though, kcal is not the same as the SI for energy (J) for example. Also everything involving time gets messy quickly. Nothing compared to the imperial measurements obviously

Da muss ich dir leider widersprechen, niemand holt sich so ein Auto, weil es schnell fahren kann (wirklich brauchen tut’s ja ohnehin keiner). Gründe sind eher:
- Boah geil! 600PS junge!
- Beschleunigung
- Sound großvolumiger Motoren
- Die theoretische Möglichkeit burnouts zu machen
Diese Autos verkaufen sich ja auch prächtig in Ländern mit recht strikter Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzung
